'The Best of Industry 4.0' is a concept proposed by the WNP.PL portal which, relying on the knowledge of Polish industry that has been gathered for years and broadened daily, on the experience of journalists and cooperation with experts, scientists and production managers in industrial companies of various branches, has selected 14 winners in two complementary categories. Those two categories were: Production Facility and Technology.
In the first category, the jury selected a venue, facility, plant, where the idea of the 'factory of the future' was put into practice, implementing Industry 4.0 technologies, and where the carried out digitalization process can serve as a model in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and creativity.
The presentation of the winners accompanied the New Industry 4.0 Conference, Tech and Job and the International Trade Fair of Machine Tools, Tools and Processing Technology TOOLEX.
“The accelerating digital transformation is fundamentally changing our reality and shaping the future”, remarked Wojciech Kuśpik, President of the Management Board of PTWP Group, during the award ceremony of 'The Best of Industry 4.0' contest held on 4th October at the International Congress Centre in Katowice.
“In order to grow, industry must use the latest technologies. Data is the fuel of modern production, which, however, must also be energy efficient - environmentally and climate friendly”, he emphasized.
According to Rafał Kerger, editor-in-chief of the WNP.PL portal, the companies awarded in the competition are exceptional in two ways.
“Firstly, because they introduce the latest, model solutions of Industry 4.0 and the most interesting technologies supporting these processes, and secondly, because they do it in such a complex and demanding time for business”, he insisted.
